About mentorship
1. Don't go around searching for mentors as you will find them in your way. You will fulfill your passion by start-up.
2. People who call themselves as Guru should be avoided.
3. Your mentor can ask for intensives in terms of finance, favors etc. He is also a human being and you should respect his desires also. This is a fact that those thing which comes as free are not respected.
About funding
1. Don't keep crying for funding. You are the prize and if you are really big prize, investors will definitely get you.
2. They invest in team. A good team could definitely build a successful product.
3. Before pitching your idea, do proper homework about VC, his working sector and the amount he is willing to invest.
4. Never dilute you stake more than 40% during funding. If you are ready to then it should be your last round of funding.
